What you will actually be trading in at DEGIRO
Screenshots age faster than anything else a broker publishes, so this page ignores them and keeps four things that decide how the account feels to use: which terminals flatexDEGIRO Bank SE, acting through its Dutch branch, trading as DEGIRO (Germany, BaFin; branch supervised by AFM and DNB) supports, whether a program can drive it, which orders you can place, and whether the demo you learn on runs out. It is the only page here re-read every month rather than every quarter.
Which entity this line-up belongs to
Applies to the Dutch branch, which is what degiro.ie is served by — there is no separate Irish company. The refusal of programmatic access is unusually firm and stated twice: no API, and separately no bots, scripts or API wrappers, which the broker says violates its terms of service. There is no demo either, and the broker gives its reason rather than leaving it unexplained. One thing this check could not confirm with a quote: DEGIRO nowhere states that it does not offer MetaTrader. Its help-centre search returns no articles for it while returning dozens for "trading platform", and its sitemap lists only the Webtrader and the app — strong, but an absence rather than a sentence.
